Ian Stahl

Ian Stahl is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and recording engineer whose multifaceted work includes multimedia collaborations, primarily with film and dance, song writing, and studio productions. He has scored works for stage for three Betsy award-winning choreographers, multiple short films and animations, and tours with his rock band, Cilience. Stahl graduated from Amherst College Magna Cum Laude in 2014 and founded Innovation Out Loud in 2015, a company specializing in music for multi-media. Stahl received his MFA from the California Institute of the Arts in the Performer-Composer MFA program in 2018. In addition to his love of being on stage, Stahl has developed a large body of work in the recording studio as a producer and engineer. He is currently a house engineer at Kingsize Soundlabs. Though his music draws on many different styles, his powerful voice and lyrics make his music accessible to audiences everywhere.
